A carer is anyone who is caring for an adult or child at home who has a physical or learning disability, who is frail and elderly or who has a serious illness or mental health problem
You can contact us to make a referral or find out more about our services, including our specialist projects, by writing, phoning, emailing or visiting us in person. Our office is staffed from 9.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Out of hours, there is a 24 hour answerphone where you can leave messages, which we reply to as soon as the office is open.
Funding of our services
Our services are funded by Greenwich Borough Council, Lewisham Borough Council (including Carers Grant), Lewisham Primary Care Trust Merchant Taylors’ Company, The Henry Smith Charity and The City Bridge Trust
We are very grateful for these funds, without which we would not be able to provide so many valuable short break services to carers.
What carers have said about our services:
‘There is a real sense of pride in the professional quality of care that is being delivered to the service users.’
‘….a high quality team that is performing well and is recognised as such by external bodies.’
‘There were clear examples of how learning and development has improved performance at the individual, team and organisational levels.’ |
