Most of us juggle busy lives, but if you also look after a relative or friend who is ill, frail or disabled, you probably find it extremely difficult to have a full life of your own.
Your local national charity
Crossroads Care is a national network of local charities employing over 5,000 trained professional and helping over 35,000 people. We are Britain’s leading provider of support for carers and the people they care for.
There are six million people in Britain who care for others. Many reach a turning point, a crossroads, at which they feel they need help with caring, a sympathetic ear or some time to themselves. This is what Crossroads does.
Anyone, Anywhere, Anytime
Crossroads Care Greenwich & Lewisham is a charity whose mission is to promote, offer support and deliver high quality services for carers and people with care needs.
We send Carers’ Support Workers into people’s homes at specified times each week to give carers a chance to have a rest. They will provide the care that the carer normally provides to the cared for person including personal care, some domestic help and keeping the cared for person company or accompanying them on outings.
Our services are available from 7.30 am to 10.30 pm every day of the year.
We provide services to people in the Boroughs of Greenwich and Lewisham.
If you live in a neighbouring borough that does not have a Crossroads Care service we may be able to help you or refer you to another organisation. |
